Elli Velissaropoulos has been active in the IP field since 2012, joining Novagraaf France in 2023. As a Trademark & Design Attorney, she assists French and international clients of all sizes with all aspects of IP rights. Elli is also Head of the Customs Monitoring Practice at Novagraaf France.
Career history
Elli began her career in Greece as a lawyer in Athens-based law firms and then spent more than six years at a pan-European industrial property firm before joining Novagraaf.
Elli studied law at Panthéon-Assas University (Paris II) and holds a Master’s degree (Master 2) in European and International Intellectual Property Law from CEIPI.
She has been a French IP attorney specialising in trademarks, designs and models (INPI) since 2018 and is a representative before the EUIPO.
Work highlights
Elli’s practice areas include trademarks, designs and copyright. She is involved in the creation and protection of IP rights (filing, portfolio evaluation, contracts) and in their enforcement (cease-and-desist letters, opposition proceedings, pre-litigation procedures, negotiations and administrative litigation).
Elli oversees customs monitoring activities for Novagraaf France’s clients and coordinates the resulting actions. She works closely with customs authorities and delivers training sessions to enhance the effectiveness of their interventions.
