Frédérique Verweij

Frédérique Verweij is a Junior Consultant at Novagraaf in Amsterdam. Her field of work includes conducting trademark availability searches, advising on the registrability of trademarks, conducting opposition proceedings, instituting or defending cancellation actions, drafting application strategies, handling online infringement, domain name disputes and conflict resolution and drafting coexistence agreements.

Career history

Frédérique completed Bachelor’s degrees in Law and in Public Administration and Organisational Sciences before pursuing a Master’s degree in Internet, ICT and IP at Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam.

During and after her studies, Frédérique gained experience through internships at renowned IP law firms and at the Amsterdam District Court. She has been working at Novagraaf since 2023 and currently focuses on advising SME clients. In early 2024, she started the Professional Training Program for Benelux Trademark and Design Attorneys (BBMM).
