Niké Mion

Niké Mion is a BMM-certified (Benelux) Trademark & Design Attorney with 20 years’ experience in IP law. She has extensive experience advising clients across a wide range of segments (SMEs, corporate and global clients) and has worked for both small and large trademark firms. She currently works in the global segment and specialises in the strategic management of worldwide IP portfolios, as well as in anti-counterfeiting and customs matters.

Career history

Niké started her career in IP in 2006, working at two different trademark firms before joining Novagraaf in 2017. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Law (LL.B) in 2016 and became a Benelux-certified trademark and design attorney in 2021. The BMM certification is a recognised quality mark for trademark attorneys in the Benelux.

Work highlights

Niké’s day-to-day work includes advising on the availability and registrability of trademarks, filing strategies, conflict mediation, conducting opposition and invalidity proceedings, drafting co-existence agreements, and the strategic and efficient management of (international) IP portfolios. In addition, Niké has a particular focus on anti-counterfeiting and customs matters.
