Jordi Lommers joined Novagraaf in 2025. In his role, he advises organisations of varying sizes, ranging from SMEs and mid-sized businesses to corporate and globally active clients.
Career history
Jordi studied Law at Utrecht University and subsequently specialised in intellectual property law, completing the Master’s programme in Intellectual Property Law, Innovation and Technology. After completing his studies, he first gained professional experience at a major Dutch bank, working on sanctions law and regulatory compliance. During this time, he realised that his true interest lay in intellectual property law, prompting his move into the IP field. Shortly after joining Novagraaf, Jordi commenced the Benelux Trademarks and Designs Attorneys’ professional training programme (BBMM).
Work highlights
Jordi advises clients on trademark availability and registrability, conducts trademark searches, develops filing strategies, and supports negotiations in infringement matters. His work also includes handling and advising on opposition proceedings, drafting coexistence agreements, and managing intellectual property portfolios.
