Dr Michael Frank

Dr. Michael Frank acts as a Director of the Legal Department, he is a German Attorney and has built up extensive experience in managing IP portfolios for both, international and national clients. 

Michael focuses on advising clients on their trademark and design portfolios, conducting pre-filing clearance searches, responding to DPMA, EUIPO and WIPO official actions as well as handling active and passive opposition, cancellation and litigation actions. Besides that, he advises his clients in the field of competition and copyright law. Michael currently manages a team of 15 IP specialists in the Brandstock Legal Department.

Achtergrond

Michael studied law at the University of Bayreuth and passed the First Bar Exam in 2009. After his legal clerkship he passed the Second Bar Exam in 2011 and worked as an Associate with a law firm specialized in IP law in Munich. In 2013 Michael joined Brandstock and acts as a Director of the Legal Department. After completing his thesis in 2016, Michael was awarded his doctorate in law in 2016.
