
Olivier Boland

Olivier Boland is an Industrial Property Attorney at Novagraaf France, specialising in trademarks, designs and models, and has been a Representative before the EUIPO since 1996.
He led Novagraaf’s offices in France from 2008 to 2025 and now focuses on the creation and valorisation of intellectual property rights (filing, portfolio evaluation and contracts), as well as their enforcement (cease-and-desist letters, opposition proceedings, pre-litigation procedures, negotiations, administrative litigation and infringement actions).
Career history
Olivier has held a Master’s degree in Economics from Panthéon-Assas University (Paris II) since 1976. He began his career in the field of intellectual property in 1978 at a Paris-based IP firm, which he went on to lead from 1997. In 2000, he joined Novagraaf France as a Team Leader.
Memberships
Olivier is a member of the INTA (International Trademark Association), APRAM (Association des Praticiens du Droit des Marques et des Modèles), ECTA (European Communities Trade Mark Association), the PTMG (Pharmaceutical Trade Marks Group) and the AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property).
